The latest composite rod development from Cutting & Wear.
SupaCutt Xtreme is the composite rod of choice for superior downhole milling ability. The fragments of tungsten carbide are blocky with sharp edges and corners for a long life and aggressive cutting performance. The tungsten carbide pieces hold gauge for longer downhole due to this durability, therefore providing faster cutting & longer life.
At the heart of the new development is a new fragmentation process which produces pieces of tungsten carbide which are very consistent in size. Approximately 80% of the fragmented pieces of carbide are within 10% weight of each other, ensuring no wasted pieces are discarded by your hardfacer. This also makes for ease of laying to a uniform height.
All Cutting & Wear’s SupaCutt composite rod products including SupaCutt Xtreme are made exclusively from steel cutting grades of tungsten carbide for a reliable milling performance.
SupaCutt Xtreme composite rod is made for ease of application by your hardfacer. The fragments of tungsten carbide can be melted off almost individually for fine control and zero wastage.
