Our new machines enable us to mill and turn our widest range of downhole tools, no matter how complex.
This investment allows us to further exceed our customer’s downhole tool manufacturing expectations.
Both machines can produce a range of tools, including mills, stabilisers, rotary steerable systems, reamers, wellbore clean up systems, plus many more.
The IBARMIA offers 5-axis milling capabilities with lengths of up to 3 metres, allowing us to fulfil the most intricate milling requirements.
Furthermore, it also provides multi work piece holding, ensuring we can deliver projects at an even faster rate, with the same high quality results.
What’s more, the SMEC’s live tooling features allow for multiple tools to be produced in a single machining operation.
