Cutting and Wear's state of the art containerised hardbanding unit has been designed and built as a mobile unit to enable transportation to any location worldwide saving operators time and money.

Cutting and Wear have gained vast experience in building hardbanding units and have made continuous improvements to the units to make them market leaders. These units are the latest up to date kits able to wash off old hardfacing, build up worn pipe and apply all types of propriety hardbanding products. The hardbanding system ensures optimum productivity in a safe and clean environment.

Container
20' x 8' complete with 3 outside doors and two additional doors for the hardbanding compartment.

Generator
65Kva 3 phase diesel powered generating set powered by a Perkins engine

Rotator
24" hollow mandrel variable speed rotator, complete with electrically motorised driven step-over mechanism

Control Panel
PLC touch screen display unit mounted in a stainless steel cabinet.

Electrical Equipment
One panel containing four low voltage motor speed boards and one control box containing a high voltage motor speed controller. In addition to this we install a distribution board for mains electric in the building with all the required circuit breakers.

Hydraulic Power Pack
Comprising pressure relief for each pump, pressure gauge and isolator. Suction filters, large capacity filler/air breather cap fluid level gauge, two manifold blocks and returnline filter.

Welding Equipment
Includes MIG 520 amp welder, PLASMA cutting unit, SUB ARC, welding cabinet. Capability includes plasma gouging, build up and application of Pinnchrome, Aramcor and Arnco hardbanding products.

Compressor
An Ingersoll compressor 150 tank complete with filter and regulators for plasma gouging.

Heat Treatment Unit
60 or 80 volt supply for powering various types of low voltage heating elements. It can also serve as a 115 volt source for lights, heating and power tools.

Paint
Primer, undercoat and top coat of your colour choice.

Other
Water recycling cooling system.
Cooling cans (6 pieces per unit)
