3 March 2010 Cutting & Wear’s Success at NOF Energy Annual Awards
Further recognition of the company's performance during 2008/09 again came in November when Cutting & Wear was included in the Sheffield Star newspaper survey of the top 100 companies in the region. We were pleased to see that we entered the survey for the first time at number 59. |
NOF Energy is a business development organisation for the oil, gas and energy sectors in the UK with more than 400 members. Each year, as part of the NOF annual dinner, they hold an awards ceremony. In November 2009 Cutting & Wear submitted an application for the "International Business of the Year" award and we were delighted when we were informed that we had reached the finals. The ceremony was held on the 10th of December at the Hardwick Hall hotel in the North of England and Emma and Tony Mettam attended on behalf of the company. In the end we did not take the first prize, but we see our achievement in reaching the finals as recognition by our industry of the company's fantastic performance during 2008/09.
