Lunch & Learn
 No, not another Jamie Oliver cookery initiative, but the first of our new lunchtime learning sessions where staff can learn about various aspects of the oil drilling industry.
In this first session Andy Ollerenshaw made a presentation on the different elements of a drill string. He demonstrated to packed audiences exactly how and where the products that Cutting & Wear manufacture are used by customers. This is the first of a planned series of Lunch & Learn sessions, which will run throughout the next year. Feedback from the first session was very positive, as Andy Ollerenshaw explains: "Everyone that came along to the first Lunch & Learn event was very interested in the presentation; internal communication is an essential part of a company that operates as a team and I felt that, as well as imparting essential information, it was also a great team-building exercise."
