Cold Rolling of Threads

For some time we have had our own Shot Peening capability, but have needed to sub-contract thread rolling to outside contractors. As more customers are requesting ‘Thread Rolling' we have invested in both external and internal thread rolling tooling, enabling the quality and process control
to remain in-house.

This will benefit our engineering customers by reducing lead times, because the process can be completed when the connections are cut, plus transport and sub-contract delay issues are eliminated. The tools from Cogsdill Nuneaton, the world leader in roller burnishing products, have the capability to thread roll from NC38 to 75⁄8".
