20 December 2007 New ERP system improves planning and scheduling After many months of preparation phase one of our new enterprise resource planning (ERP) software went live on 1st October 2007. The new, Windows based system, called Vantage, has been implemented throughout the company and has significantly improved the planning, managing and scheduling of our manufacturing resources. We chose Epicor's Vantage system, which has been designed specifically for manufacturers, and it means that everyone in the company can access all the right information at the right time. Work has now started on phase two, which includes the CRM module and moves the reporting and communications features to the next level. |
